General Admission tickets for the show may be purchased on-line for “Will Call” pickup using PayPal. On March 15, 2014, twenty local contestants will compete in Hickory Rotary Club’s annual singing competition – Rotarian Idol. Contestants will compete for $5,000 First Place, $1,500 Second Place, Third Place, $500, and $500 Audience Favorite prizes. Contestants will be judged by a panel of three music industry professionals. Audience members will also have a chance to win several door prizes. This is sure to be the HOTTEST ticket in town! By purchasing a ticket to this event, you will not only enjoy an evening of outstanding entertainment from some of our best local singing talent, but your support will make it possible for our club to continue funding education initiatives in our community and other humanitarian projects, locally and internationally. The Hickory Rotary Club has raised more than $235,000 through Rotarian Idol competitions in the last four years, and the bulk of the proceeds have remained in the community, supporting vital educational programs such as Imagination Library, student scholarships and annual Teacher of the Year recognitions.
