Rotary started with the vision of one man — Paul Harris. The Chicago attorney formed the Rotary Club of Chicago on February 23, 1905, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Over time, Rotary’s reach and vision gradually extended to humanitarian service. Members have a long track record of addressing challenges in their communities and around the world.
“Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves.” – Paul Harris
Be sure to take photos of your #RotaryDay7670 events and share them on social media or with your local traditional media. There’s still time to schedule an event for this coming week and use it to attract new members and engage your current members! (And don’t forget your club gets points in your “Pink Pages” if you host an event in your community!)
